What a Wonderful Week!

I am working on getting some pics of the children on here so please be patient!  The students have also requested that I put some sites (games) back on our blog!  When I changed the background, they were deleted.  I will also work on that.
* Our poem went well this week!  Everybody did super!  I challenged the students to share it with someone over the holidays!  I told them that grandparents always love for them to show off...so encourage your child to recite Long,Long Ago for your family!
* Our Spelling this week, we did a story where they had to fill in the blanks with the missing spelling words!     Ask your child to read it to you!
*The Christmas breakfast was GREAT yesterday!  EVERYTHING was delicious!
*THANK YOU so much for the generous Christmas gifts! THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
*Students return to school after the Christmas Break on January 5.
*Tomorrow,  we will be cleaning out our desks.  Ask your child what supplies he/she needs. (pencils, crayons, glue, erasers, etc.)
*Tomorrow,  we will also undecorate our tree and room.We will be sending  home Christmas crafts and ornaments.
*Report cards will be mailed the week we return in January. I will be asking for conferences during January.   I encourage everyone to review math facts over the Christmas break.  We have done such a beautiful job of learning 2-6 and 10 that we sure don't want to lose what we have worked so hard to gain!  We will pick up where we left off and start with 7, 8, etc.....
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

"Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you:  He is Christ the Lord."
Luke 2:11

We hope your holiday season is SHEER delight!
