Well, our first two days are finished. Yesterday, we were a little excited and ready to get started. Today, it was just a test! All in all, I think we are doing just fine! We had Vocabulary and Reading Comprehension on Monday. Today was the Language portion. Tomorrow, we will test over Math, and Science/ Social Studies are on Thursday. We should finish all testing by Thursday. Please continue to make sure your child gets plenty of rest, eats a good breakfast, and arrives on time each morning. Thank you so much for all you do!
Remember, next week, we will be taking the Iowa Tests of Basic Skills. Every morning we will be testing for about an hour to an hour and a half. Be sure your child has breakfast, is rested, arrives on time, and has at least TWO number 2 pencils for the test. Encourage your child to do his/her best. Let them know how important these tests are and that you know they will do well. Test results should be back to us in May. Because of our testing, we will not have a Reading checkpoint or Spelling test.
