Welcome Back......
MuLTiPliCaTiOn!!!!! The kids are so excited!!!! Drill those multiplication facts daily!!! All students need that daily repetition. There is no easy way...just good old memorization is the key. We are learning the twos and fives this week!

THANK YOU!! OUR FEAST WAS FABULOUS!
Our Thanksgiving feast was a huge success......and DELICIOUS!!!! The children and teachers loved everything. We were so proud of our classes for learning Psalm 100. The students did such a wonderful job! It is always so nice to have a special treat and a time to enjoy each other and fellowship with family and friends. Thanks to everyone who prepared, sent, or served ! Thanks to our room moms for coordinating everything! We have such a generous and giving group this year for which we are thankful!
I hope everyone has a great and peaceful Thanksgiving break. It is so nice to have the whole week off. We look forward to lots of festive Christmas activities with your child when we return. Thanks for all you do for the third grade!

Next Week......
Wednesday, November 17, we will have a Social Studies test over Chapter 3, America's First People.
Thursday, November 18, we will have a Math test over Time/ Chapter 6.
The remainder of the week before Thanksgiving holidays we will cover Chapter 4/Lesson 1, On the Road to Freedom/Colonies in America. We will NOT test over this.
We are also memorizing Psalm 100. Help your child each night as we are working on this in class, too. By the feast(Nov. 18), I would love for our class to be able to say the Psalm from memory.
You should have gotten an email with a link to go to so you can sign up to attend and/or send items for our third grade Thanksgiving feast. If you didn't, please let me know.
