Next Week.....

Monday, May 23^rd and Tuesday, May 24^th are half days.  We will dismiss at 11:45.  We would like for the students to wear his/ her blue field day t-shirt  on Tuesday!  We will be signing the backs of our shirts, so if you would rather not let your child do this, please let me know.

Honor’s Day is Wednesday, May 25^th, in Trojan Hall.  It will begin at 8:20, and it should be over @ 10:00.  Students are dismissed after the program.  Students may wear  “church”  clothes .  They do not have to wear the TSA uniform.  No jeans, please!

         

I want you to know how much I appreciate everything you all have done for our class this year.  You all have been a wonderful group of parents, and I have enjoyed getting to know you and work with you and your child this year.  You have made this year so easy and fun for me!  Your gifts and kind words have meant the world to me!!!  All the boys and girls are so dear!  I love them like they were my own!  I know they will do well in 4th grade, and I will be checking on them!  I hope you have a great and safe summer!  Remember to read, read, read and review those times tables!!  Send me a postcard if you go on vacation.  I would love to hear from you!  I will see you in August!

End of Year Party

What a great day we had yesterday!   It was perfect weather and the children did great!   Thanks to all the parents that made this day possible!

Field Day Shirts!

Reminders! ~ Diaper Drive, End of Year Party, Honor's Day

Our third grade is having a Diaper Drive for the Macon Rescue Mission's Dove Center. This center is for female victim of domestic violence and their children. Diapers are needed at the center... any size or brand. Please send in your diapers by Friday, May 20. Thank you so much for participating in this very worthwhile charity service project! I know the Dove Center will appreciate it, too!

End of the Year Party is on Thursday, May 19. It will be a swim party at the home of Dawson Brown.  Pizza will be served for lunch.  Remember to check out Sign Up Genius for other party needs.  

Chaperones need to meet in our room at 10:25 on Thursday!  Drivers are April Beasley, Lori Dozier, Christy Hallman, Connie Hobbs, Deborah Kelley, Kevin Lance, Kelly Lossiah, Kim Willard, and Kathy Richardson.  Students may wear their swimsuits under their clothes that day. They also need to bring a towel, sunscreen, and a change of clothes (if you think they need them).  Students may also bring a mask, snorkel, and flippers. Please make sure your child’s name is on anything he/she brings.  We are looking forward to a fun day with our classmates to celebrate the end of an awesome year!!!
