TSA Spotlights the Arts!! Thursday, April 30 - 4:30 -7:00


TSA Spotlights the Arts is a great Tattnall tradition.    
Every child will have examples of his/her art projects on display.
 The media center will be open with a Book Fair.
The chorus and band will perform.
There is a silent auction of class projects. 
 (Look how cute our class clock is!!! Yes, it actually works!! 
Come place your bid!!  Thank you, Mrs. Hilliard!  You are the bomb.com!!! ) 
 Refreshments will be served. 
Drop in anytime from 4:30-7:00. 
So much to see!!!! You won't want to miss it!!

A Glance at Our Week - April 20 - 24, 2015

Reading~ Cocoa Ice; genre- informational fiction; vocabulary; compare/contrast;
Spelling~ words ending with the suffixes -ed and -ing 
Language ~ Adjectives
Math ~   fractions; 9x tables; speed drills
Social Studies- Research of historical Macon/ 3-5 facts about an assigned location in Macon. We are getting ready for our field trip.  
Field Trip is Thursday, April 23.

April 30 - May 8 - Book Fair
This is a school-wide fundraiser event.The game will be held on April 29 in the Athletic Complex at approximately 1:45 p.m. We will play four (8 minute) quarters with a fun activity for the whole student body between each quarter and a special guest speaker at halftime. Admission will be $1.00 for students which will be taken up at school during the week leading up to the game. General admission for all other attendees will be $2.00, and we hope that you will come be a part of this historic event!

 As added entertainment, FCA members will be selling sheets of paper for a paper plane contest that will be held during the 1st and 2nd quarters. The sheets will be $1.00 each and participants will attempt their best construction to see who can land closest to the target! The plane closest to the target will win a special prize.
