Earth Day is Thursday, April 22. We have been talking about reducing, reusing, and recycling and about preserving our ecosystems. Our students are participating in the grocery bag project. Each child decorated a paper grocery bag from Publix with pictures and slogans that remind us all to do our part to help our Earth. These bags from our students will be used at the Publix on Bass Rd. If you shop there this week, ask for a paper bag, and maybe you will get a paper bag decorated by one of our many artistic students! Help us with this by talking with your child about ways your family could help our earth! For example, recycle cans or newspapers at home, or start a compost pile if you garden. Help us to make every day EARTH DAY!
