Wordly Wise: Lesson 3 test is Wednesday.
Spelling: c after e,i,or y  and g after e,i,or y 
Language: compound sentences
Math: subtraction with larger numbers and regrouping.
Science: adaptations of plants and animals in Georgia habitats
Bible: Biblical Truth 2; memory verses
Handwriting:  lower case letters

 Conferences are Wednesday afternoon. Everyone should have received my email about times. I look forward to meeting with you all. Remember dismissal is at 11:45 on Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012.

THURSDAY ~ We will be have a picnic lunch on Thursday.  Please send a sack lunch and drink to school with your child.
    

REMINDER!!!!   As a community service project, Elementary Student Council will collect used clothes, shoes, books, CDs, DVDs, and VHS tapes during the week of Homecoming, Oct. 15 -19.  Collection boxes will be placed on the elementary sidewalk.  As an incentive, each time a student brings in a donation, he/she will receive a ticket.  At the end of the week, student council will draw tickets for door prizes!   Donated items will be distributed to families in the Pleasant Hill area of Macon by The Strong Tower Fellowship Mission.
