WOW - What a Week!!!! Feb. 25 - March 1, 2013

Spelling~  comparing words using -er and -est
Reading~   play/The Crowded House; skill -  author's purpose
Wordly Wise~  Lesson 9; We will test next Tuesday.
Language~  Irregular verbs:  Flat Stanley came home in folders on Friday.  Please make sure he gets mailed this week! 
Math~  continue with multiplication; Chapter 10 test is Thursday;  It helps greatly if your child is studying those times tables at least 10 min. each night!
Georgia unit~ continues.  We are learning so many cool facts about our great state!!!

 AR Party - March 8th
        AR deadline for points  is Friday, March 1st.  You can go to www.tattnall.org and check.  Just look under the Media Center page.  Click on the Accelerated Reader link.  You will have to know your child's username and password.  Students should know it!  

Congratulations to our Girls' Basketball Varsity team!!!!  They have advanced to the 2013 GISA State Basketball Final Four to be hosted by Mercer University in Macon on February 28, March 1, and March 2, 2013.

 Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013 - Spirit Day for our Girls' Varsity Basketball Team - They are heading to the Final Four at Mercer University!!!!  Students can wear jeans/tshirt (spirit dress day attire) to school on Thursday.  The Swamp Theme is only for the game that night. We are playing the "Gators" so our students are going to be Swamp people/gator hunters!   Go Trojans!

Friday, March 1 - PJ Day - Read Across America!!!!!!  We will be sharing our favorite Dr. Seuss book with K3!!!!
