Reading - Flat Stanley; Parts of a Friendly Letter; Learn your home mailing address - Spelling will count; A.R. test on Friday. Project Letter is in your child's folder.
Language - Contractions(Verb with Not); Verb Tenses
Wordly Wise - begin Lesson 9
Math - Review of equations; multiplying $, addition, subtraction, multiplication, & division with 3 digit dividends, time, measure of liquid capacity and length. Speed Drills
Social Studies - begin our study of GA

Spirit Week - See earlier post for daily themes. - We are putting together goodie bags for our 2 basketball players - Kendra Green and Braxton Zeigler. The players are always so excited and appreciative to get these from the kids, and the Third Graders LOVE giving it to them! We need like 2 powerades, 2 snacks.....Anything goes...powerade, candy, gum, snacks, motivational card, bible verses, anything homemade, ....whatever you feel like. If you would like to help with this, just send in your items by Thursday. Let's show our Trojans how much we support them. Thanks for your help!

Wed., Jan. 28 - Field Trip to GrandKids: SchoolHouse Rock/ Stevie B's - If your child hasn't brought in money for lunch, please remember to send it with your child in a marker envelope or ziploc bag by Wednesday. $5.38

The Talent Show is Monday, March 2nd. Auditions are being held Friday, February 6th and Thursday, February 12th. Sign up sheets are outside Mrs. Smothers' door - Room 104.

The Y-club is taking orders for Valentine’s Day. All orders must be prepaid and turned in to either the Lower School or Upper School office by Wednesday, February 11th. Make checks payable to TSA. Please DO NOT put two orders on the same order form. These order forms were pink!
