A Glance at Our Week - March 2-6, 2015

Reading-   The Crowded House;  genre- play; vocabulary; author's purpose; We will be acting out this story in class. Props and funny voices are encouraged..but not required! ;-)   TEST FRIDAY
Spelling-  words with -er and -est; TEST FRIDAY 

Wordly Wise-  continue with  Lesson 11- quiz on March 10th
Language-  Pronouns 
Math-   TEST ThursdayPlease continue to study X facts nightly.
New skills- grams/ kilograms; Converting measures; 7 as a divisor  
History- continue with GA unit

Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!
Friday will be Pajama Day!  Please allow your child to wear his/her pjs to school!  We will be reading and sharing our favorite Dr. Seuss book with the preschool children.  

GOODWILL DRIVE - Please return the yellow sheet of tickets to school if you do NOT plan to drop off items at Goodwill.  Those are the only tickets we will get this year, so if you do not use them, we can let another parent use them.  Mrs. Allen has already had people asking for more tickets, but she does not have any more to give. 
The winner is based on a percentage of participation so every ticket needs to be used.

The Future Stars youth basketball program for 1st - 6th graders is March 7-24.   Please fill out the Future Stars Registration Form ASAP and return with a check to the TSA Athletic Office or the front office. The Tattnall coaching staff looks forward to working with your young athletes.

Tattnall is sponsoring a Tuition Raffle through Thursday, March 19.  The drawing will be held the evening of Thursday, March 19  during Seussical, Jr.   Winners DO NOT have to be present to win.  Tickets are $50 each or BUY TWO, GET ONE FREE and may be purchased in the front office, Mrs. Cheek's office, or online at Tuition Raffle Online Form.  Anyone can purchase a ticket (grandparents, prospective families, current families, aunts, uncles,etc...).  Credits may be used for tuition, re-enrollment fees, lunch balances, etc…  Only 400 tickets will be sold, but a minimum of 200 tickets must be sold or money will be refunded.
  • Grand Prize is a $5,000 tuition credit.
  • Second prize is a $300 tuition credit.
  • Third prize is a $200 tuition credit.
