Well, how did you like the owl pellets? Some students were unsure at first, but soon realized they are cool!!! No, a pellet is not owl poop! (as some of them thought ~ gross!!!!) A pellet contains things that the owl cannot digest. The pellet is regurgitated. It is so neat to see the bones in a pellet! Here are a few pictures from our day with owl pellets! Notice how intense the students are... Love it!
